Working together
Trauma-informed counselling on the Gold Coast & online
A steady, supportive space to begin
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
We can begin with whatever feels present for you.
You might be noticing
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or easily triggered?
This might be manifesting due to the effects of trauma, chronic stress, or experiences your system has had to adapt to over time.
Sometimes this can show up as patterns that don’t quiet make sense, or reactions that feel bigger than the moment.
Other times it’s quiet; a sense of disconnection, exhaustion, or not feeling like yourself.
Wherever you find yourself, you’re welcome here.
Who I support
I support people navigating the impacts of complex trauma, including childhood or early experiences, nervous system overwhelm, family and domestic violence, and relationship or parenting challenges.
Sessions are available online and on the Gold Coast.
What sessions can feel like in trauma informed counselling.
Sessions are a space to slow down and stay connected to what’s happening for you, and begin to make sense of your experience.
We move at your pace.
You won’t be pushed to share more than feels right.
We stay connected to what feels safe and manageable.
At times, this might look like gently exploring what’s happening beneath the surface, noticing what your body is holding, or getting to know different parts of you and how they’ve helped you cope.
Over time, this can support a deeper sense of regulation, understanding, and connection to yourself.
My approach
My work is trauma informed and guided by an understanding of the nervous system.
My intention is to support you to feel safe, seen, and understood; however that shows up for you.
I work in a relational and collaborative way, drawing on different approaches while staying guided by what feels supportive for you. This work is grounded in attunement, compassion, and the relational space we create together.
A place where I can sit alongside you in the stuck or overwhelming moments, offering connection where things may have felt hard to hold alone.
Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and how your system has learned to respond over time.
This might include:
understanding your nervous system
working with different parts of yourself and the roles they’ve had to take on
making sense of patterns, responses and experiences
creating space for integration, not just insight.
I will hold and guide the process, staying connected to what feels manageable and within your capacity.
From here, sessions begin to take shape in a way that feels steady and responsive to you.
